Hi Silentine, I've made a trash can-only version of your mod (since I don't need all the other stuff), is it OK to release it as a standalone mod ?

Love the mod!
I downloaded it and tweaked it a little to make the compost box work in Vanilla.

I'm super new to modding though, so it may run into bugs later though

The compost box isn't making food spoil faster. Other than that, everything's good.

Pit crate - immune to fire, indestructible when closed, holds only basic materials; gord knots aren't easy to come by unless you in the desert

Wooden crate - kinda pointless, it would be cheaper and just as effective to make 2 chests

Metal crate - requires a gear and wires for less storage (useless garbage)

Trash can - good idea, but it could be a tad cheaper like 1 cut stones less

Charcoal pit - it's bit pricey but makes unused logs to easy charcoal/ash (ok)

Ice chest - superb more storage, more freshness but needs wires

Compost bin - easy sanity drain, easy rot but oddly explodes when on fire (ok?)

your rarely going find knots/wires and cuz of that it kinda forces players to base in the desert; why not use other somewhat difficult material like gems/teeth

Please add the trash can to DST! Servers produce so many trash nowadays lol. Rest containers are same as in DST mostly. I like to use scaled chest for "fire immune" :meaty:

id really love it if you give the Trash Can it's own mod. As a Webber main, my base is literally flooding with silk, and I need some way to get rid of it.

I have a feeling this is causing my game to crash on loading. I can't confirm it though since I've no idea how to read or even find the crash logs.. But whenever I crash, this is one of the mods I end up disabling and it tends to fix it. I re-enable it later, but this is getting tedious.. I'm running it on the Shipwrecked Beta.

Love this mod, the trashcane alone is invaluable because I am just picky picky picky about having things organized, and things I don't need laying around really ruins it~

It has left me wishing I could make my own personal storage related mod's though, I was wondering if maybe you had some tips on where to start?

please make do for DST ! i tried to import this mod but without success... but i can see that the variables in perishable.lua are different one use functions and other classes... so... :) i did not manage
