I'm enjoying it a lot! never played Faces of War, so, for me it's fresh footage. Really intens and varied. Finished USA and Rusia.

I have a small glitch on graphics, where some soldiers appear like... blue 3D spines of movement (instead showing the 3D model. I'm seeing a fix some comments before mine) and some weird fininish mission, but overall is really fine. Congrats and thanks a lot!!

This makes me wish there was a mod that made Men of War 2's graphics look like Faces of War, it was a great game.

Good mod and I don't need to play all three campaigns (even if they have some isuse) or play original to say so. Of course fans of Faces of War could be offended, because "this is not the same", but what more expect? This isn't FoW and it will not be ever. Just appriciate fun which this mod give to AS2, because if you suck in multiplayer and you played every goddamn skirmish, and you NEED some plot, then this mod will give you both fun and plot. Especially if you don't know original and don't want to buy it, because you are broke after buying AS2. Good job with this mod. I like it. I am not afraid of bugs, especially when I can play every mission and just skip broken parts. This is for free, so get some respect for author, you bozzos.

This isn't "the best way" to play FoW at all, lol. Not only do you miss the original game's superior art style, the way AI and units work in MoWAS2 is very different to FoW's. A lot of the missions play out radically different. Some are straight up broken and others are WAY too easy.
The only really hard missions in the original game were the first and last 2 German missions, everything else was fun and perfectly doable on the 1st try.

Now this isn't a bad mod, but it's just that, a simple mod port of FoW campaign into MOWAS2. It doesn't work as it should. You should only play this mod if you're very bored because you can't find any other decent workshop missions (there's not that many good ones after all).

The original game is way better than this in practically every way. Better art style, way more balanced, less bugs, more game mechanics that couldn't be ported into AS2.

This is the best way to play Faces Of War, this mod improves the original game in almost every aspect, i didn't encounter any crashes or bugs.
Keep in mind the original game has some bugs and it has problems running on modern hardware.
I recommend this mod, it is almost perfect.
And to the people that said that is hard trust me the original is even harder.

where is this in game? I can't find anything about faces of war except for a giant title above the menu in large caps 'FACES OF WAR' but no sign of any campaign.

if there is blue models that are all messed up for units in the missions Im pretty sure that means the files are not up to date with the latest version and unit models are conflicting. so no this mod is not up to date. it says in top right that it was last updated in 2016 lol

In seelow station (Soviet) where you have to kill the German at the steps just before the train comes through, some of the Germans became invincible. The first time I could kill them so I could see the train, but my next attempts they could not be slain so the armored train could not arrive to complete the mission.
Maybe it's because I already changed the tracks for the other locomotive and layed mines where the AA gun comes in near the tracks so my 5 remaining men would survive.

@Wiga Thanks for your reply! But I don't quite understand what do you mean by "old mow as2 skins." I've browsed the workshop but haven't found any mod that provides old skins... Is there a specific mod that you would recommend or do you mean something else?

Yes I forgot to fix that issue years ago and in some missions it can happend. Those issue is due to old mowas 2 missing skins. You can get mod with old mow as2 skins and it should work again.

All the allied and the last three soviet missions are causing a desync when i play with my friend, any solution to this problem?

For some reason a lot of the missions in this are causing desync with me and a friend. Not all of the mind, only the american missions (after radar) and all of the soviet missions. German missions seem to work fine which makes no sense.

The German mission where you go undercover and destroy an Allied base, the part where you go to the cook to divert the troops from the barracks, I cannot seem to do anything from there

Thank you to the creator of Faces of War, cuz the Original one was jancky, and could not be passed in training do to the rate of fire, guess the dev's did not do a good jog like the player creator of the game

Mod is outdated. Some skins are broken because after game update I didnt fixed that.

The Nijmegen bridge mission for the German campaign is broken. I got into the british base and got to the calliope but it won't let me continue on from there and my guys can't enter the calliope so they can't destroy the barge.

I removed only noise, both of them sucks tho. Thats why in my quality mods I never fix vanila stuff - only custom.

for some reason i preffer the assault squade texture then this one because i saw the tank comparison and the tank had better and more realistic texture its just like you putted more like plastic texture into the game
