haha .. that is exactly the case - loose huge stability for no reason, loose big money when you finally have it, and so on so many stupidly overkill trigger and also on palament - short ahead of the day ther is always the - loose 100 support or go behind and loose 7 stability and xx - what nonsense is this! So I hope this mod fixes this issues...

Life has crushed me with inexplicable failures, and I don't want games to become a phenomenon, perpetuating my image as a failed striver. I don't care about players who enjoy Paradox Interactive's clever tricks; I only care about my basic mental health and enjoyment, at least not getting more and more frustrated with the game. If I want to feel frustrated, why don't I just find a building to jump off?

lmao are we playing the same game? unless you are playing on very hard it is seriously impossible to not get ahead of AI, unironically just git gut, I have half things automated and still I am snowballing without control.

Unless you mean you want to be able to win against every AI in first 100 years, then it is you problem, not the game, which tries to slow you down so you wont be steamrolling everyone after 100 years as you were able to in eu4.

For those saying ppl expecting to only get positive events clearly either have not played the game enough or they just love getting bttfckd by the game. When you finally saved up enough stability and presitige and Legit to make the changes you need a negative event almost always pops up to lower one if not all the work you put in. But look at all the other countries and they never seem to have the same problems and they advance a lot more over shorter period of time. The negative effects almost always make no sense of where it comes from. Sure if you doing something like taking power from one estate while another increases I can see some negative events from the estatee being hurt but you should also get more positive events from say an estate you just helped out and they should be less and not crimppling to the point AI countries slowly creep ahead of you.

eu5 is much better than eu4 in this regard, as most stab hits are less punishing. youve gotta play really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to let a 10% estate loyalty hit actually ♥♥♥♥ you up

This is so true and why I hate playing Portugal in EU5 but loved it in EU4. Every so often your best starting city just doesnt exist anymore so its a massive waste ever investing in it. Even taking the option to spend an ass load of money doesnt save ♥♥♥♥.
