@s4rz, are you using the correct ammunition? Like the Spring-Bat it needs Heavy bolts to function.

@ProfileName, not that I know of, you can add damage multiplier to certain races like robots/animals and there used to be a value inside FCS called pierce damage but I don't think it does anything anymore.

Is it possible for crossbows to have armour penetration? I feel like that'd be appropriate, given that the Spring Bat is made to punch through armour.

Adding a mark 2 option for one of the close-ranged crossbows is such a good idea that I'm surprised it hadn't occured to me at all until I stumbled upon your mod. Whenever I'm doing solo runs, ALL my crossbow work after the first shot or two is necessarily close-ranged, so this should be exactly up my alley! Thank you very, very much!

Tech hunters have a chance to spawn with it rarely, blueprint should be available in places like crossbow shops and the library in black scratch. I found the blueprint in the Scraphouse specifically in my own playthrough.

Do npcs spawn with this? And does it have a blueprint for sale or research?
