Engagement distance is currently unchanged. I'll look into what a proper change, if needed, should look like. To be honest, I just hadn't thought of it much when playtesting. I'd be interested in hearing how people think it should be changed, though.

personally all i was looking for was a health boost, but this works too.

turns out halo 2 isn't hard, just unbalanced.

@Donut I think Kat’s Campaign (highly recommend) adjusts spread/damage drop off for the SMG but I’m not sure, that said I’m considering making my own Halo 3 mod at some point and I definitely feel the same way about the SMG, and also the AR

Anyone know a mod that for Halo 3 campaign that increase SMG ammo reserve and range and damage? If I could I would play the whole game with a SMG, love the thing..

awesome man, ur an inspiration for a newbie like me to one day get into modding on mcc as well, id recommend checking out infernoplus videos on how he mods as well as ruby's modding videos because they show the modding process very clearly

Thank you, glad you like it! And it should be easy enough to do--I just finished up a big update that makes melee damage more consistent (among other things) but I would agree with those changes, so next update after this one I'll most likely look into it

Thanks, very cool mod! If possible, I'd recommend increasing the melee damage of some other weapons above the base melee damage such as rocket launcher, fuel rod, sentinel beam, and maybe needler
