Does this mod increase the chances of children being born with congenital traits in general? i've set the random traits to disabled in the rules but it seems that they are still getting single congenital traits.

The intelligence path lacks the diplomacy& intrigue bonus/ malus. While i get it that this made the intelligent path very op. I find there is a reason for this. Intelligence is one of the most useful and versatile gifts that humans have.And since this is a game of rulers, one best gift a leader can have his high intelligence, since he must use this to complete the many complex tasks

Absolute game changer of a mod, it's super simple but does such a good job of making it feel like you can build up your genetics without breaking the game's balance.

@Crobi567: Age 18 is the last year they can acquire XP for now. Future updates I may change this or add a game rule to keep it going.

@VecsonON: Very open to a fellow modder. I'm just not sure what you're looking for. Can you explain more? And yeah, the code base is nuts. Trying to figure out ways to streamline it.

@LeeFoster2: All traits with XP is like that. Pick the level you want though, and the game will start by giving you a set amount of XP depending on your level (Rank 3 gives 200 XP).

@taxel: Yep. Not max 100s in all three pathways, if that's what you're asking.

Hi, I wonder if you would be open to make few compatibility events or actions for improving existing/adding new congenital traits? I thought about making a compatch for my mod, but after closer look into your code-base I found that annoying to do without rewriting everything on my side.

Don't feel force to do it though, I just ask if you already had such idea or are willing to add it. I probably will make generalized compatch mod for other modders when I have time myself

Seems like a really neat mod. Is it possible to still reliably get the traits to max level for your children like in vanilla?

@SomeRandomChris: It doesn't. Going to update that. Odds are, you have a Level 2 trait, even though it appears like a Level 3. So the decision requirements appear to be unmet (which, code wise, is technically true). In the next update, it'll have a specific XP requirement.

@kwonth1000: XP is gained passively in both cases. Check out the discussion post for this mod to see the mechanical breakdown.

@the soldier: I'm assuming so. No one has said otherwise.

@Lamenest: I can try to do some AI translation. No way for me to ensure it's any good. But I don't know, people seem really concerned about AI around these parts. Might put someone out of a job or bring about judgement day.

This looks cool. I was thinking that something like this absolutely needs to be done to education traits. Getting a set value at the end of childhood is ridiculous. Learning is a lifelong process, and most of it is done as an adult.

@ReVoltage: I don't play with any TCs, but unless AGOT (or any other TC) alters the base game congenital traits, it should be compatible.

@Rei: The mod doesn't change the vanilla inheritance mechanics. It does hide any of the main congenital traits they're born with until 4.

Are these making traits no longer congenital? I noticed that my offpsrings are not getting these congenital traits anymore except Fecund, even with a full Bloodline dynasty legacy.
