Doesnt work as of 03/2023. Shows enabled in mods section, but max player size still shows 6, which is default for the base game.

You need to go to the mods options at the main menu and enable it. Click on the mod check box and apply the mod. It should restart the game client and by then you should be able to get it to work then. Figured it out after fixing the typo and messing around the with check boxes.

Works once updating the config file ......\steamapps\common\Don't Starve Together\mods\workshop-360770741\modinfo.lua .find "clients_only_mod". Take out the "s" out of clients and save (so it looks like this: client_only_mod).

Enable the Mod again.
More player :)

打开modinfo.lua文件（使用txt或者notes都行） 使用搜索功能搜索关键词"clients_only_mod"将其修改为"client_only_mod" 对 去掉那个s就行 之后保存文件 打开游戏 到mods里的客户端mods启用该mod即可

You would think if the problem is literally caused by a single letter mistype in the modinfo, the dev would just spend 2 seconds to correct it.

Guys! To make the mod work do the following:
1. Find the "Steam" folder and click on it.
2. Find the folder named "Steamapps" and click on it.
3. Click on the folder named "common" and go into the folder "Don't starve together".
4. Click on the folder called "mods" and go into the workshop folder for this mod (should be named "workshop-360770741".
5. When you've opened it with "notes" scroll down untill you find "clients_only_mod". Take out the "s" out of clients and save (so it looks like this: client_only_mod).
6. Restart the game and apply the mod.
Voila! It should work now!

I changed the "clients_only_mod" in modinfo file within the local workshop file Don't Starve Together\mods\workshop-360770741 to "client_only_mod" and it works now!

Hey, the only thing you need to do to fix this is change "clients_only_mod" in the modinfo to "client_only_mod".
