Let me know if you run into further issues.
What (where) buttons did you press to open the ramp? There is one timerblock that triggers the whole sequence.
Thank you very much tho, glad you like it overall :)
"The sum of its parts are greater than the whole."
Chapeau!
Well, its to raise the cargo over the railing and enable it to get detached and extracted by a station for example. I made a test setup before that could move connectors below the raised cargo and retract it from the ship. Just a gimmick idea.
Maybe try a mod that allows subgrid projection assembly.
Yea I think I haven't established the full automation for detaching the cargo pots, tho, you can just disconnect the hinges when it is rotated upwards.
Much love to you and your work here <3
unfortunately, it is a maze to navigate, so I may end up using something else.
I love the parking bays and other exterior amenities tho! I might design myself a ship and use this as inspiration!
Just the overall integration of the parts together to create a really unique ship, it's honestly my favorite I've seen in a long, long time.
The ramp is a custom setup.
Yes I agree that the corridors and doors make it very confusing and claustrophobic. I would have put signs infront of doors and make it more visible for people to know if you end up in space or not. Tho, because I also tried to fit all functional blocks like refinery, assembler, hydrogen generators and more into it, there is not much space to have much more space. The use of corridors is mostly to bake sure that everything is airtight. The corridors enabled me to have more space in the end. The doors were intended to protect against losing a lot of oxygen if the hull would be breached and to minimize the loss of oxygen if you would open a door without airlock. Tho perhaps, I should have put a bit more priority into proper airlocks and not cramping every functional block into the ship that there is :D
Overall, nice ship, gave it a like.
Furthermore, the ship has an overuse of corridor blocks, which makes it feel both claustrophobic, and empty. The ship also has an overuse of doors, as if you're afraid of any part that could vent, which you should not be. The actual rooms of the interior are mostly nice, with some questionable choices, I'd prefer if we had more rooms and less maze like corridors.
The exterior, and parts of the interior are beautiful, the asymmetry is lovely, I know the pain of it, and you did a good job with it.
Thank you for the feedback! Yes, I thought and played around with adding a passage from the front to back, but it didn"t fit to the layout I had already build. Tho, I see that a central passage connected to the hangar would be neat. If I find some time, I will give it a try :)
You belong to those ship builders who's confident to side-step symmetry for a while and let instincts go guide your hand...
I wish thou the interior has a common single passage that connects all interior compartments,
one hallway to connect them all... a practical build...
Still, Its a nice ship
