it's such a shame mods like this aren't ironman compatible, this mod should be in the base game, it's insane that it doesn't expand in basegame so more than x map modes on the bar in bottom become all but unusable. Plan on using this whenever I play with other mods so don't care about checksum. May also just use after a few saves anyway as it looks to be so helpful

Glad to see you're back in the game with EU5! Both making mods, and also bringing us your videos again. I play on ultrawide so this is perfect for me

Yeah glorp you were right. Free Console Access was the culprit.

Sadly the bottom bar is so wide that the leftmost pinned map modes vanish behind the left-side menus I open. Otherwise it's perfect.
I use a 1920×1080 monitor.

@Echo Free Console Access might cause this issue. Or you're using another UI mod along with this one

Hmm, I don't have anything that would mess with the bottom bar, only the top one.

What I mean is:
- when I set a control group, without this mod those appear as normal on the buttom, even when the bar is hidden, and above it if it's pinned
- when using the mod, those same icons appear in duplicate (like double rendering, one below the other). Testing with a different bottom bar mod, it only seems to happen when the bar is pinned (which it is automatically with your mod).

I'll keep checking for conflicts, maybe I do have something that messes with it.

I'm unsure what you mean @Echo. When I set control groups they stay in-place on the bottom bar until removed. Do you have other GUI mods causing a conflict here or am I missing something?

I've got the same issue with this as I do with every mod that changes the bottom bar. If you CTRL shortcut something, like an army or navy, this will add icons on the bottom bar. With this mod those icons are duplicated whenever the animation for hiding would play.

Same as Nimrod, i couldn't find the UI element that allows you to hide/unhide the map icons (construction, spying, etc)

This seems to hide the UI element where you can hide/unhide units etc on the map. At least I cant find the icon anywhere....
