Are you planning to add holy sites in the future? It would make sense that locations in Greece or large imperial centers should have ones that are activated when Hellenism is revived

I do not know how a country could function as a pagan state where you lose citizenship when you convert from Christianity.

@Agraza I've all ready went over this, Byzantine Law or the Justinian Code is removed when you convert to Hellenism, because it's established Christianity as the state religion, defined what is heresy and bans paganism.

the "reform" is a law. i was mistaken. its called byzantine_law. it has a religion requirement and grants your nation a reform slot.

I've used it mid save, you just have to use debug to fire either the mod's startup hellenism event, or the vanilla hellenism switch event

@Red, the event flavor_byz.1502 should have also converted your country if you selected the fourth option, if you started the save before adding this mod, unfortunately it's not compatible, for some reason the godlist is part of the save file, and Hellenism is disabled in base.

Otherwise something is wrong and just fire event greek_gods.1

@Primarch sarge the Justinian Code does because in also has ecclesiastical law as part of it, Pronoia System does not have any religious requirements.

@Agraza I don't see any religious requirements to any of the Byzantine reforms, so I can't really help you here, maybe it's another mod you're using, in which you'll need to hit them up about the issue.

The reform is Byzantine court. For some odd reason it has a religion requirement so you become invalid the month after going Hellenist.

Hey I know it would take a lot of work, but I still wanted to suggest it. A lot of religions in eu5 have custom advances specific to their religion, and theres another mod that adds custom advances to the norse religion, it would be really cool if you made unique advances for hellenism :D

What's the name of the Reform you lose and I'll look at it.

On the question of marriage it would require that Hellenism would be part of the Christian religious group which would only really make sense if we change it to be somekind of Neoplatanist, but if it's something people want I can make a submod that moves it to the Christian group or maybe making it them Kindred which be interesting though I need to test to see if that would allow marriages are not 100% sure.

there is a gov reform that requires being orthodox that you lose when you convert. sadness. would prefer it didnt.

also your marriage candidates go away. its probably more them than you, but if its possible to adjust marriage acceptance to make it so people outside your court will accept that would be nice.

@Saint Nope, you only need to use the start up event or use the event chain made by paradox to convert.
