It is hoped that the author can expand on some other animals and plants that became extinct between 1137 and 1836, forming a protected area (and perhaps adding some enhancements). Although these beautiful creatures have passed away from us, it is still hoped that through some means, we can commemorate their existence and the significance of history. Also, it is to remind players not to forget these beautiful creatures, as they were also extinct due to excessive human intervention. At least we can protect the living creatures that are still alive now.

This awesome. Question, as a skilled modder, do you think you could replace the artwork of particular cities from the weird default ones? ive been trying to do it but cant understand it.

@BingBadaCOOM They hypothetically can occur to AI also yes, I don't have restrictions; but you also shouldn't 'lose' out on flavor if an AI discovers them first (The AI could find one and later you can also find it), the only one at the moment where it's actually locked out is the discovery of the dodo, as I fire global events later when/if the dodo dies and I didn't want that repeating.

In New Zealand, at the start date of 1337 the Moa and Haast's Eagle would still exist, and to disappear by the start date of EUIV. If you are quick to colonize New Zealand, maybe that could be an event chain :) I'd like to save them from extinction.

This is great, you should make the mod more accessible so people can make sub-mods for additional fauna/flora.

You could go a step further and create an national artifact system kinda like the current art for national treasures.

You could also add archaeology system to pay for excavation/exploration of ancient places to find said artifacts

Is there any plan to have events involving supernatural/cryptids at some point? I know stuff like cynocephali, headless men and especially krakens were believed to be all over the world as people were discovering more of it.

I see, thanks. I'm a dev for NWIP, and we have a discord server that contains some useful documentation regarding files and such.
Since we are at a stage with EU5 where mods are just beggining to come out, it's nice to try and coordinate stuff before it gets out of hand and we need dozens of compatches. So if you don't mind, would be nice for you to join too. Cheers

@DanielAir as for Beyond the Cape, it should be fine unless he removes the vanilla on action for firing events during exploration: should be compatible.

New World should also he compatible to some degree, though I do use some areas and regions from the vanilla map such as area = area:amazon_area to scope my events to the Amazon, so it depends on if they removed or renamed those keys. I'd say try it out.
