So if one is to occur, it'd need to be made by someone in this wonderful community!
You could go a step further and create an national artifact system kinda like the current art for national treasures.
You could also add archaeology system to pay for excavation/exploration of ancient places to find said artifacts

Since we are at a stage with EU5 where mods are just beggining to come out, it's nice to try and coordinate stuff before it gets out of hand and we need dozens of compatches. So if you don't mind, would be nice for you to join too. Cheers
New World should also he compatible to some degree, though I do use some areas and regions from the vanilla map such as area = area:amazon_area to scope my events to the Amazon, so it depends on if they removed or renamed those keys. I'd say try it out.
