Also wondering if it is possible to create a button in the Formable nations reworked settings GUI that hides the little button in the corner after having changed all the settings that I want, it's a bit distracting that it stays there all the time, or if it's possible to make it only appear when you hover over that area.
Thanks :) Great work btw.
For sure brother
just wanted to ask whether you could add east frisia too.
Will do
Hey brother, I see they did 1.0.6 update, that certainly broke some stuff - but, that isn't why your nations are like that. That specifically shows me that your version is outdated (probably haven't resubbed recently) because those are the old tags I had like 5+ updates ago, which I had to change to 5 letter max tags, so french empire is now FNCEM not FRENCHEMPIRE
So, resub and it should work - but I'll need to check what PDX broke with 1.0.6
Oh that's my bad, I moved all the vanilla formables into Formables Reworked file but forgot to reapply the changes, I'll fix that! :)
- Fixed the issue regarding AI not being targeted for the GUI settings, now all nations will apply the buttons variable.
A current known issue that I will fix in a few hours is that by default only historical nations are enabled by default for the AI, so clicking the buttons in the GUI only applies to the player nation, and obviously that's not the intended outcome, but I've got a good plan for fixing it just gonna require quite a few hours of work.
I'll figure it out soon, but I wanna take a break as I'm a bit stressed over it.
Overall, I'd rather have the update semi-functional than broken, so I'll push for now, and fix it in a few hours, just wanna eat and chill out a bit.
Try resubscribing
- Fixed the GUI being open always caused by latest EU5 update
- Added an X button to close the GUI
- Directly fixes the issue of country formation then saving causing crashing which only happens to a country that borrowed a base game flag (all replaced with temp flags for now)
FLAG UPDATE IS THE NEXT UPDATE.
list of notable changes:
- updated to 1.0.4 eu5 version
- fixed naming issue for good, changed all tags to 5 letters max and applied them all country_name_construction_name
- Settings GUI is now fully functional
- blanked out base game formable file & merged it with FNR formable file
- lots of minor adjustments to formables & fixes
I'll look into it, just organising GUI stuff
My bad meant to fill that comment in with them and got distracted.
- Historical Formables (Russian Empire)
- Non-Historical Formables (Angevin Empire)
- Alt-History Formables (Dual Monarchy)
- Controversial Formables (Nazi Germany)
- Fantasy Formables (Camelot)
- Meme Formables (cant think of any atm, might not have any yet, but some were suggested)
- Modern Formables (Russian Federation)
GUI basically works just need polish.
Historical nations will start enabled, the rest will require you to use the GUI to enable them. (feels the best approach but feel free to share)
I'm not sure. Depends what paradox decided for ironman and mods which I did not keep up with.
Best to assume no.
@Daddy_IronMan-
I'm not really sure what to say man, it's still taking people I can see the number going up so seems to be an issue on your end. Add me and I'll send you a temp one perhaps.
@RobinW00T
Thank you very much friend. Appreciate it. I love Formable Nations as well.
I have to change every tag, so saves are gonna break.
Just a heads up. Won't be pushing update for a few hours.
Gonna try to get some of the flags in order for this update as well.
yeah just stuck on bugs
