if youve ever typed mat_specular 0 or mat_bumpmap 0 in the console then maybe thats the issue

those are types of textures that add detail to the main texture, bumpmaps adding unique details like depth (think the inner parts of brick walls), and specular is for lighting or reflections i think

RQ i need help with smth. so when i spawned Laurence in. they were missing the legs and the model itself looks really weird and not like how the model should actually look. but when i spawn in the Cleric Beast it was invisible. with the only thing still visible being the hairs on the model. the same goes for the rest of the extra enemies. with them also missing a lot of their model as well. is this a bug\glitch or is there a way i might be able to fix this?

Super cool! Perhaps a strange question. I saw that some of the characters have a 'Soul Scenic' thing. Will the Cleric Beast get that as well at some point? Every time you spawn him in, he drops down from above. So i got a lil curious.

Enemys are much more harder to than bosses due to they taking longer but we do.
There isnt a BB enemy that we are thinking of doing but at some point in the future we will be doing more BB stuff, rn we can port ds1 and elden ring enemys & model (most of them) dark souls 3 is a special case where we cant port it, and i have to pay zhinge for the model lol

Usually I don’t make these sort of comments but I’m a bit curious. Are you guys considering tackling none- boss enemies from BB in the future as well, or that primarily saved for DS1 content??

which players are you using
ds1 from roach or my rebalanced version?
normally i use my own rebalanced versions and yeah cleric beast & lawrence is a boss that you mostly cant do mistakes
same for sharkman but i do think i should nerf the cleric beast a bit

yeah but like, they can stun lock you if you make one mistake, and the cleric beast easly oneshots you at full health, and its attacks a quite hard to dodge

Yeah, at some point me and my friend are re-doing most of the ds1 stuff and any enemy that has a grab will have a fully functional

This is awesome man! I think it's super cool how you managed to get the grabs working on different types of NPCs, not just ones from the DS1 base, do you plan to do the same for previous enemies that had grabs like DS1's Mimic?

About Amygdala, probably not soon, i just ported the model by fun and i was thinking of doing it but well, the model is very problematic due to alot of bones
