Already tried those. They use to many objects that arent meant to bake into a map and they end up floating in mid air and having strange behavior. They also use a lot of manually rotated objects and they end up floating too

The map is well suited for a WW2 variant with old houses from the IFA Staszow map and so on. Are you planning something like that?

Not sure honestly. I would have to look into it.

The issue is a lot of areas are dense with trees etc, so AI spawning systems may have trouble finding clear open areas.

@radykalnem - yes, thats the plan. The basements are very tedious to make but I intend to add a dozens of them spread evenly through the villages. And same goes for trenches, dugouts, and many other details.

@nellen Up to you man, but I do recommend waiting for the 12 gb.

The basement prototype is awesome. It would be good to add about 30 of them and a few larger ones so they could be used as stabilization points. Could you add some dugouts in the forests? It would be perfect for the DRG.

Trenches must only contain objects with p3d's that are set up for terrain objects. Otherwise the objects will flip or behave strangely when hit with artillery or even guns in some cases, and AI will ignore and shoot through them. (aircraft crater object, timber logs, and many more just for example, these can not be used)

The map is "done" compared to other WIP maps made with GRM, but I would say its about 80% completed in terms of the final detailing process which includes basements and trenches as well as unique terrain features and some FOB's.

Bro, I'm asking you, make some hills and stuff like that on the map, not too high. You can check out videos on YouTube of the fighting in Luhansk and Donetsk. There are often small elevations in the fields and stuff like that. If you add that, it'll be really cool.

Maybe the road texture is part of a DLC? Try repairing your game files and see if it fixes it and report back please
