I've been waiting for someone to make a Spanish culture for so long
Athelas  [
Fixed, thanks.

As anote, the 'Moorish Culture' description in your picture is the Portuguese description.

oh boy, it's the iberian struggle all over again!

Sure have fun! If you encounter any bugs I will be around to fix them. Just not going to develop new ones.
Ishchyaboi 11
Cheers, that means I'm green to start my medieval, generations campaign!

@Corvus
Maybe as an add-on baseless faction to HRE mod. However, a complete Teutonic Order mod is not planned.
@Striker
I cannot see your point, do you expect me to write unique description for all my mods? They are designed to be a part of the puzzle , so they get the same description.
@ Ischyaboi
For a while I won't be popping out new mods since I believe there are enough mods present now to make a complete overhaul.
After I have enough time more factions will probably come; however, I am not sure about the factions that I should exclude.
Ishchyaboi 11
The intent is to recreate all the Total War 2 factions, right? So we can expect like 9 more? Are there any more you're going to exclude?
It's very clear you've played Medieval 2 total war
oop I stand corrected then, always thought that the term originated from the French royal guard (with muskets I guess xD)
Corvus 11
will you do teutonic order? 100/10 mods
Athelas  [
I might change the naming in the upcoming updates if you guys wish. I took the names directly from M2TW unit trees.

I would expect Arcabucero to be a word for arquebusier rather than musketeer. As I know they are two different rifles.
I would call him an Arcabucero, using the Spanish word, since "musketeer" is much more associated with France in the collective imagination, although it is correct to say that it is the weapon they used in the 17th century.

@krumla try not being so confidently wrong next time
Athelas  [
For sure Musketeers were present in French army as well specifically in 17th century; however, this does not mean they are a French exclusive unit type. Additionally for unit trees I am basically using Medieval II: Total War stuff. If you wish you can check them here:

@krumla
"In the Spanish army, the tercio or the Spanish square was a mixed infantry formation that theoretically could number up to 3,000 pikemen, swordsmen and musketeers; although it was usually much smaller on the battlefield. It was effective in its era, capitalizing on the close-quarter impact of the pike combined with the long-range projectile capabilities of the musket. It resembled a loosely formed phalanx in function, but was far more flexible and deadly. Musketeers were developed by the Spanish during the Italian Wars so as to deal with the heavily armored French Gendarmes. An arquebus was not powerful enough to take down an armored knight, but a wall gun was. Spanish field commanders wanted to bring the firepower of a small wall gun onto the battlefield yet have it be as maneuverable as an arquebus."
Trianqren 11
@krumla musketeer is any soldier using a musket. they had different names in different parts of the world but they were all still musketeers
My friend, 'Musketeers' are French
