Do you have voice chat npcs mod? I didn't include any talking in this. I think the only npc on this map is the TV fella. It should be somewhere below the LEFT front corner of the house in small cube, when FACING the house from tree. Somewhere on the same height level as the cave middle. Good luck finding it because I lose it too and it doesn't seem to render while inside displacement geometry or something.

Where are those talking Human NPCs? Seems I cannot find them or their model is missing

I wanted to see if I can get the ropes to work in skybox which was pretty easy to line up, but actually skybox red light sprites, the windows and just the baked lighting inside the house gave me the most trouble while making this.

I originally wanted to have a mirror in the bathroom but the skybox had expensive water so I had to do extensive areaportaling for the map, moving the mirror around but in the end it did not fix rendering bugs with the mirror so regretfully, I had to ditch it towards the end anyway.

Some people have pointed out lake pontchartrain, gm_ashwga and Godzilla in the earlier comments, but I haven't actually seen any of these prior to making this. I was mostly inspired by the serene setting of coasts chapter of Half-Life² and oddly some areas in Gta5, lone dead trees by a cliff probably I got fascinated by The Ring tape and also surprisingly Halo 2 gravemind cutscene beginning with the ominous red lights. Was in my dreams few times as a kid. There is also a VRchat world called Electrical Lines ｜ 「送電線」that had similar imagery with the blinking red lights of pylons at night that actually gave me the idea to actually start working on this map. I wanted to make a cool house with lights you can turn on and off by a cliffy ocean and yeah you need a little bit of electricity in there.
