I'd just reiterate on the suggestion of making it work with CBA. Then people could turn on/off effects they want/dont want - or even scale up or down certain effects (depending on how much one "Can-Be-Assed" (*wink*) to put into a mod of this kind).
Still, with these tools available, i would almost guarantee that it would reach the stars and become a staple mod for many units (as it then could be tweaked more for "realism", and be adjusted for performance).
Also, as someone else also pointed out below - perhaps have some of the effects tied to caliber size rather than "general". 9mm MP5 shooting up a car looking like the car being chewed up by an autocannon is perhaps a "bit over the top".
I am personally considering adding this mod for the 2026 reworked mod-list for my unit - so im rooting for you, and hope that certain changes are possible - as it would then be within "acceptable" parameters without being "goofy" in some aspects.
