for some reason i can respawn before the respawn button appears by pressing space and it breaks everything

Yes, the survival time is counted from the moment you respawn. NPC kills are also tracked fresh each time you respawn and the gamemode name is retrieved using engine.ActiveGamemode()

the thing is, does the npc, survive count, and game mode move up like in original project zomboid after death or no?
