During a battle, you happened to obtain a golden crown. Unable to resist the temptation, you put it on, only to find that the entire spire had changed.
Now, every time you play a card, you lose gold coins: attack cards cost 1 gold, skill cards cost 2 gold, and power cards cost 3 gold (no, this isn't targeting power builds!). If you don't have enough gold, the equivalent amount of health will be deducted instead.
But risk always comes with opportunity. Now, all gold rewards after battles are increased by 50% (hopefully this won't cause inflation!), and you'll receive additional gold rewards after battles based on your performance – the faster you win, the more gold you get. The rest areas also offer extra options.
