Went to the red circle, the entire area was full of air drop boxes. Stack trace in error log.

Update: Using the command console, I found that the air drops in Rosewood are apparently just not spawning? The red circle is there, and the debug log says that this particular one's location should be "x=8132, y=11593, z=0". There's nothing at that spot, and the log also notes that the air drop's values are "valid=true, exists=false, empty=false, onfire=false, square=true". I teleported to another town with a red circle air drop and it spawned in just fine. I'm thinking the exists=false is the problem of course, but I don't know what I'm supposed to do to make it appear. Note that air drops that spawn in near the player function perfectly fine. The one I checked in Fallas Lake isn't one of those though, so I'm pretty lost.

what radio frequency is going to tell me where the airdrop is? i made world with almost nothing in any container and im struggling so hard because i dont know how i will be notified for a airdrop

I spent over an hour last night searching the circle for the air drop. I have the drops set to last 72 hours. I failed to find literally anything. No crate, no radio ping, no fires, no smoke, no anything. Is there some debug method of locating the air drop so I can see if the mod is working?

I set the sandbox option that radio frequency to be random from 88MHz to 108MHz. But I tried every frequency between 88.0~108/0, and can't find the airdrop radio.😥

Slight error with this and rain's guns. just have to disable the gun air drops if youre using both :HealthSD: (this mod can't decide on drop rates with rain's so 1 airdrop turns into a cluster of them dropping with 1-2 items in each, they're bugged airdrops, sledge has no effect on them)
Other than that strange conflict this mod is running flawlessly

When "spawn near the player" is enabled in sandbox, it doesnt drop near player on modded maps.

have you been able to test map compatibility with this and Handmade Maps? do the markers for drop zones still show up as expected?

The mod is not following the sandbox settings. I set the airdrops to occur once every two weeks, but in reality, they appear frequently every 3-4 days. I haven’t touched the parameter for adjusting the airdrop interval, and it remains at the default value of 0.

U don't need it. You need only radio, set frequency (look for your sandbox options) and you will see message beep when airdrop fells.

Подскажите, а это нормально что в зоне отмеченной под аирдроп, с каждым разом как я туда заезжаю становится всё больше и больше этих ящиков? Сколько их должно за один аирдроп падать? У меня сейчас порядка 30 коробок в пределах одного круга, мб больше

Would it be possible to add a sandbox option that forces the mod to use the exact custom coordinates entered for airdrops?

I’ve cleared a dedicated landing zone at my base specifically for airdrops, and I’d love for them to consistently land there instead of scattering around the base.

this is strange, very strange.

Crate (and fire) creates at the same time.
This may happen only if an error happened. I wasn't able to reproduce this bug.

Currently when I run this mod it drops the air drops, even leaves the smoke and fire, but no crates are spawning, not sure what I did wrong here

Noice! It works. Also your kind explanation will be helpful to many people. Do you know there is smokeflares in original mod? It's an item to mark an airdrop coordinates in my position. I've used this item to check loot tables are working in debug mod, but it isn't working i think. If you don't use this type of things, than remove it. Anyway thanks for the update.

@E-Worm — restored functionality of the original loot and coordinates tables. Added a new feature: LootQuantityMultiplier (default: 1.0), which also applies to file-based tables.

New features:

- Radio messages on airdrop spawn and hourly updates — stay informed about fresh drops!
- Radio beacon — emits a <beep>-<beep> signal as you approach the airdrop (frequency increases when getting closer).
- Improved stability — smoother gameplay with fewer crashes.
- Extended spawn interval — now you can set longer periods between airdrop spawns (customizable range expanded).

First ,I read this RandomAirdrops wiki. I make the item list like your preset, but I customize EXACT ITEM LIST and quantity and spawn chance by using AirdropLootTable.ini. If i want moded ammo, than put this ammo boxes in the AirdropLootTable.ini, and set quantity and chance. If i set quantity 4 and chance 20, than one ammo box is extracted with a 20% probability. So if I'm lucky I can get 4 ammo boxes, if not i can't get anything. Maybe I just don't know how to use
AirdropCategories.ini, but I'm not sure if these detailed settings are actually possible.

@E-Worm its true, this mod supported AirdropCategories.ini in the past, i will see how to reimplement it again (the code is still there) and give coorect instructions.

I was using original RandomAirdrop mod, I made my customized AirdropLootTable.ini in Lua folder. It was also working in your mod. However, some point, in your mod, it isn't working anymore i think.

If i cant using AridropLootTable.ini anymore, I want to know how can i use AirdropCategories.ini. you just say using AirdropCategories.ini, but there is nothing. How can I use this?

Yeah, the drop I went to, set a bunch of rabbits on fire, so I chased down a pack of running fireballs. At first I felt bad for that happening, but then I realized it's easy food, and it was actually entertaining to chase down a bunch of running fireballs. :prospectorthumb: Good Mod !

What’s been added:

A loot multiplier (which also affects the number of animals);

An extended spawn distance.

Known issues:

Sometimes the drop zone doesn’t get removed;

Occasionally the airdrop fails to delete.

If the drop zone hasn’t been removed, you can use a sledgehammer to dismantle the airdrop and then try rejoining the game. I’m still investigating these issues, but they seem to be causing fewer disruptions now, so the mod should be more usable.

As a funny side note: when animals spawn and the airdrop’s fire effect is active, they might run into the flames, catch fire, and then run around setting everything on fire — it’s quite entertaining!

Известные проблемы, иногда, зона падения не удаляется, иногда не удаляется аирдроп.
Если зона падения не удалилась, то с помощью кувалды вы можете разобрать аирдроп и попробовать перезайти в игру. Я продолжаю исследовать данные проблемы.
Но вроде они уже не так сильно мешают использовать данный мод.

При спавне животных и включенном огне на аирдропе, они могут забежать в огонь загореться и начать бегать все вокруг поджигать - очень весело)))

Понимаю ваше недовольство, проблема с зонами и спавном оказалась гораздо сложнее, чем я предполагал.
Были проблемы с падением аирдропа в воду, спавна там-же животных
То не появлились, то не удалялись зоны/маркеры.

Я обновил мод, надеюсь что основные проблемы решены, но до конца я в этом не уверен.

+ мультипликатор лута (влияет также на число животных)
+ расширил дистанцию спавна

В текущей версии нельзя прекратить спавн
но можно (залутав все аирдропы) отключить мод либо через настройки песочницы выставить низкий шанс спавна

In the current version, it is not possible to stop the spawn process entirely. However, you can either disable the mod after looting all airdrops or set a low spawn chance via the sandbox settings.
