I looked into how strategic resources work and found the AITradeModifier field. So I went ahead and set it to -100 to make sure the AI wouldn't favor trading it at all (at least, unless I'm misunderstanding something). Because of that, I think the issue you were worried about probably won’t happen. Or if it does happen somehow, maybe someone else can give advice later and I’ll try to fix it then. so, I just updated this part, by the way.
Anyway, thank you again — really appreciate you taking the time to kindly respond to my comment even though I’m sure you’re busy!
In any case, I truly appreciate your input. I always try to carefully consider balance when creating mods. That’s why I’ve now adjusted the values: the happiness from the luxury has been reduced from 2 to 1, and the culture bonus has been lowered from 20% to 10%, in order to keep things more in line with the base game while still honoring the original concept.
Thanks again for your comment! I'm using a translation tool due to my limited English skills, so I hope you'll understand if anything sounds a bit awkward.
You may have seen it in the mod description already, but this mod is actually a slightly modified version of the Broadway effect from Civilization IV, adapted for Civ V. That’s why both the culture bonus and the "Hit Musical" luxury resource are included — they’re directly inspired by the original.
In Civ IV, Broadway granted a 50% culture bonus. In Civ VI, it provides a 20% bonus. So my goal was to closely recreate the original effect from Civ IV, while adjusting the numbers to better fit the balance style of Civ VI.
As for the "Hit Musical" luxury — that’s also not my original idea. It, too, comes from Civ IV, where building Broadway would automatically grant access to that luxury, with the quantity varying based on map size. So removing either the culture bonus or the luxury would take the mod further away from its source material, which I wanted to stay faithful to.
