There is another mod for that called Rescue and Vengence that adds CBs to avenge or rescue your loved ones.

It would be nice to have a cause for war if they decline to return a close family member.

Diplomatic distance applied for interactions? Would be kinda wild and game-breaking if prisoner exchanges are happening half-across the world

Great mod in theory, but the base reluctance being so high makes it so nobody wants to give or receive any prisoners. Please add more modifiers like vassals being more willing to give their prisoners to their liege, friendship, maybe diplomacy or intrigue?
