You had me there for like 2 songs, until I decided to drop the volume on everything but the music because I started noticing that the notes were just going nowhere. The longer you listen, the less coherent the songs are. It's definitely AI and I tried to power thru it because I figured it would fit the Neon UI mod, but the composition is just so poor that it kept taking me out of the game. Unsubscribed.

@DaViper Sounds good, I agree it’s a good time to add a prefix to the track names so they’re easier to spot in-game.

@Dominicius I actually thought the same thing but then i realized i can just deselect each original song in the playlist button in-game

@AliensToooKMe: bad descriptor just means the file hasn't fully updated.

If you are on Steam, close the pdx launcher, and go unsub/resub to the mod. Make sure you see the steam client re-download the mod. Then launch PDX launcher again.

The problem should go away. If not, then in the PDX launcher "mod collection' do a refresh checking the clear cache box.

@zsgdesign Further update: A tedious bisect caught my culprit that for WHATEVER reason would only bugger up with Ethics/civics(machine spirit) which was the root cause.

For whatever reason, it was failing to update properly. (probably steam). I unsubbed/resubbed 3x, and the last try it updated. At a guess, the mod (corrupted) was bashing into your mod.

After that bit of wahoo funtime, the game now loads with a full 89 mod collection, including an outdated cryochamber music pack.
I'm chalking this up to Steam being a lil' biotch. If you still want the modlist, let me know and I'll be happy to send you the json.

I'd still ike a better naming convention to see which tracks are yours and which ones aren't. They are just ogg files, so I could just rename manually, but the problem is that the next time the mod is updated, the tracks would get overridden.

it says it missing a descripter file and i cannot evben enable it in my playset. Would love to hear some new music in stellaris though! hope it gets fixed soon

@zsgsdesign - update. The crashes (for me) may be coincidental with an update to civics/ethics that was failing to update. Currently your mod is now working 'high' in the order.

The problem now is...are these tracks just scattered in the jukebox? Because I'm not sure if I'm listening to YOUR mod, or the older tracks. My Cryochamber pack shows up nicely as it says "cryochamber-" in the title of each track.

Finally an editorial note: The jukebox sucks. Bad. If I were to look into modding as a hobby, replacing that P.O.S. would be my first stab at it.
I turned it off before due to background hiss as well as tracks skipping (even if random is deselected). I normally just play my own mpd player for the tunes in the background.

@Demognomicon @DaViper If possible, could you please send me your playsets? You can click the three dots, then click share button to save the playset as a JSON file.

Yeah, I'm with @Demognomicon on this one.
Solo mod = works.
Playsets = crash checked with top/medium/low in the order. (with or without other music mods.)

@zsgsdesign I tested the mod alone and it doesn't crash. However, with my modded set, it crashes every time. So maybe some incompatibility or limitation of Stellaris. I do have several mods that affect sound: Apocryhps, Cryo Chamber, Kammarheit, and the Stellaris Enhanced Sound Project. Just under 150 mods total.

@zsgsdesign Don't worry about any crashes I reviewed the asset and txt files and all is fine. It is impossible that this mod crashes anything.

Also, could you mind trying to enable only this mod and see if the game still crashes? If not, the crashing is likely not caused by it.

@Demognomicon That's terrible, I tested it before launch and never encounter thar before, could you send me your crash log for further diagnosis?

Looks interesting but makes my game crash when enabled.

好呀，我后面看看，后面DLC和版本的新音乐不在原版的music文件夹了，所以一开始我只找了18首原版的配了34首混音。等我过段时间收集全新增音乐后，给他们也做一些混音。

哇，简直太棒了，希望能加入每个版本祖传小曲变体的混音。
