They actually made the engine worse than Civ 6, it's awful. Remember when we had Ludicrous Earth in Civ 6 (like 240x130 tiles)?

FYI:
Navigable rivers, cliffs, and natural wonders can't be placed yet. I think we'll have to wait for the official world builder.

Thanks for the mod, but I have tried it several times and every time I start the game in America. Is this just me having this problem?

Hi, thank you for your mod. How did you create the navigable rivers using the unofficial map tool? It gives me an error and I could not find any instructions for it.

Hello, of course you can upload your map and share it with your friends. The only thing I want is for people to enjoy Civ, regardless of the version. (I've played them all.)

Some information about this:
I created the map, because of the texture issue with Gedemon's Giant Earth. The map has more than 128 tiles in x.
But I really wanted a map of Earth.
So I used the Civ V map editor, loaded the Giant Earth (Civ V version), clicked the "Scale" button, and had a basic framework (128x80). Then i recreated the map with the unofficial Civ VII map editor and adjusted it to my liking in the places where it no longer fit due to the scaling.
The fact that some areas on the map are missing or don't look "realistic" is partly a conscious decision or wasn't important enough to me.

Yesterday I also made some more adjustments. For example, I added the Sinai Peninsula.
Greece, Türkiye, and the Black Sea have been adjusted.

Hello map maker, I played your map, but I feel that the range of action of ships in classical times is too small, and some parts of Asia are missing, such as Sakhalin Island. So I reset some areas and sea areas with your mod as the base plate to make it more entertaining. Can I upload it to my friends if it is marked as modified from your map?

@Phaetom so there are still many hardcoded limitations that only devs can change.
As @Gray said, IF we can put all Civs available in any age, that would solve it imho

@Malata Societa' Official "the real starting location for each civilization starts with the first choice", yes thats it. It will be determinate by yours first choice. If you want to play United States in America, for an exemple, you need to start game in modern age, or you can choose another American localized civ in previous eras. There is another point, due to game actual restrictions you just can chance your Capital to a town or city connected by land, it mean - for an exemple - if you start playing as a Norman in Exploration Age and want to change your capital to London (Great Britain) in Modern Age, you cant, the game doest allow.

But excuse me, since Civilization 7 manages the culture change for each era, what does this mean if you say that the mod has a real starting location for each civilization? That is, that the real starting location for each civilization starts with the first choice, or that with each civilization change, if someone suddenly changes, they are teleported to the appropriate region of their civilization that they chose when changing civilizations? I mean, if I start with the Romans and then in the second era I choose the United States—this is simply an example—what happens? Suddenly being teleported to the United States seems impossible to me, so I think—I'll try to imagine—that the true starting location only applies to the selection of the first civilization, right? @Gray An option to unlock all Civs in one era would actually work to keep classical CIV gameplay!

a great example of how the devs ruined Civ. you cant possibly play a historical game on this map because Civs are only available in one era.

@Civaholic TSL only work when ALL the selected civs have a TSL this is a known bug that is not possible to workaround.

@JamesLuciano: Natural wonders cannot yet be edited and are randomly placed at the start of the game. Unfortunately, this is not yet possible with the YNAMP script.

@Dödsdraken: You are right, there are problems with the TSL placement (especially when starting in the modern era) I am trying to find a solution

Dödsdraken: I seem to have read that you should add 11 civilizations, not 12.
Here, I didn't have any problems with TSL.

Civaholic: Yesterday, I tried to add the natural wonders in TSL, but I didn't succeed. Are you interested in adding them? I can give you the coordinates of the wonders on your map.

Beware that in order to get TSL (True Starting Location) to work you need to decrease player count from 12 to 11 when starting the game.
