@leibowlrice, this mod relies on in-game assets to create the ID card visuals. Since vanilla B41 doesn’t include ID cards, it would be difficult to implement the same mechanics there.

I was wondering how amazing it would be if there was a passport interface, adaptable to the mod world. Something that brought that sense of identity, you know? After all, even in an apocalypse, there would still be tourists trying to survive out there. Does that make sense to you?

@bryanncaua, this issue might be caused by a conflict with other mods. Try testing it on a new save with all other mods disabled.
It should appear as an additional action in the ID card context menu.

yo, i relly liked the idea of mod, but i cant check the zombies IDs.. and i didnt found any other item that i could inspect, so how it works?

This is really cool. I have a similar idea to this but idk how to mod but I doooo know how to draw and make pixel art if you want to try making a "Check the doodles" mod for all the doodles you can find in the world

Currently, ID cards don’t retrieve information about a zombie’s appearance, but this will likely be addressed in a future update.

has a minor issue where the photo sometimes differs significantly from the zombie's appearance. Although this can be explained by the possibility that the person's appearance and style were very different when the photo was taken, it still slightly breaks the immersion.

This is awesome! One step closer to having a Hitman/Search n Rescue/etc type run. Would be sick if you could spawn with a copy of a random zombies ID and the goal is to hunt that zombie down(or implemented with NPC mods to hunt a specific NPC). Great mod bro! Def adding this, thanks!

@ladyteruki, Yes, you can add this to the existing game — the mod simply adds functionality to the native items in the game. Custom names work the same as all the others, except for the signature (if you use a surname that isn’t defined in the game).
