@Kniggar - Thanks! Well that´s kinda weird since I´ve never seen those factions being destroyed by AI. Someone said there is a mod that makes those pirates actively attack factions crossing their paths, but I´m not sure which one that is. I´m going to release my second mod soon and after that I´ll have a look if I can do sth about that issue.

Fantastic mod, adds some much needed flavour and drive. However one of the factions always ends up dying to AI before I get a chance to fight them, any work around?

@Neil - No AI can´t earn them. The script checks if the winner was a human player. Thanks for your comment, there might be a minor nerf in the future.

Deffo a lil OP for me, but also definitely a great idea. The banner for all 'em could be OP, others feel too much though... er can the AI earn these if they fight the pirates?

Holy crap, my favorite factions in the game get some unprecedented (for them) love

Have been avoiding the game for weeks for...reasons, but this may just pull me back in...like how Mannan eventually pulls ships into his embrace. Great work!

@Bloodrush - Thanks for your comment. I´m considering a minor rebalance of some of the items as soon as I´m forced to update for the upcoming game update. I still want them to be worth the hunt, so let´s see if and what I´m going to tweak :)

I love the idea and was considering getting it, but for me the rewards are too powerful and not in line with game balance. I mean Sisico's blade is more powerful than Kingslayer

I know it would probably be a big undertaking but having the pirates built out with special skills and ability to recruit on defeat would be really cool, maybe something where they can horde recruit their normal army units, and then the full item sets too would be awesome

@CeboDeMacho - It should, the only mods conflicts I can imagine are if another one does something to the pirate factions.
@Mad Dawg - There are no sets yet, but I´ll keep this in mind for future updates. Since this is my first mod and I´m happy that it currently runs smoothly, I might wait with an update until I´´m forced to :D

Hey hey, love the sound of this mod, just a question I have, are the items part of the set? If not, I'd like to suggest to you if you can to make them into a part of the set if possible since it will be even more enticing to collect them all.

Personally I have a thing where I like to give strong items/sets to non legendary lords and essentially make them into "Sub-Legendary" as I call them xD

@Bran - I don´t know if SFO changes anything about those roving pirate factions, so I can´t say for sure. But I briefly tested it and it worked for me. So just give it a try :)

@RAT | xXBroken_ButterflyXx - That´s fair. My modding skills are just far from being able to renounce the help of AI yet. Anyways, thanks for the feedback

Considering the power of the books of nagash, I don't think this is too far off balance. The upkeep reduction might be a little high, but it's for that army only so it's debatable.

Ooh great idea, I love having more reasons to engage with the random roving armies. I always wished there was a tangible reward for killing Vashnaar back in WH2 lol

Btw, you can flip a setting in the Windows snipping tool to convert HDR screenshots automatically, that way when you export them to image hosts like Steam they aren't all blown out (not really a complaint just letting you know)

@AkumulatoR and @Cold - Appreciate it, I´ll consider tweaking the stats a bit, wasn´t aware that melee defence could break balance that easily. And about the +5 control factionwide is really something I had in mind nerfing a bit. Maybe I´ll lower it to +1 or +2 in a future update (I´ll have to figure out how to update a mod works first :D)

I´m currently working on my second mod, working similar to this one but granting a unique faction based ancillary-follower as reward for destroying a faction. Your feedback helps me with balancing, thx :)

Great mod! Nothing major to complain about, I really appreciate the effort and polish you’ve put in. Just one small balance suggestion:

- Items that give +15 melee defense might feel a bit overtuned. Maybe scale them down to +10.
- The +10 melee defense ones could be nudged down to +8.
- The final item that grants +7 melee defense to all units in the army probably works better around +5.

Reasoning: melee attack can go high without being too problematic, but melee defense is one of the easiest stats to push into broken territory second only to ward save.
That said, modding is hard work and I really appreciate your dedication to improving the game. Thanks again for sharing this mod with the community

Cool idea but +5 factionwide control for beating the weakest of them all is... not good. I would change that to local province, maybe increase it to 10 or 15 or whatever. The rest seems fine.
