I didn't mention it on the mod page here, but there are secretly two tiers of vitamins specifically for Calamity (after Luminite tier).
I haven't actually played through Calamity to see if the moves are reasonably balanced leading up to that point though, so I can't really say if you'll need to tweak the moves for that or not. Do what feels right!

Quick Question, you designed the vitamin buffs and moves to scale up to normal Terreria correct? I wanted to see if I should buff the moves to scale for the calamity mod.

Odd… I haven’t seen that and feel like I would’ve noticed it. If you have any way to provide a screenshot or similar, that would be great. At the moment I can only guess it may be a conflict or a particular accessory/helmet?

Doesnt seem like a huge issue but ive noticed as an umbreaon i have two pixels that float in front of me at all times and tilts with head movement

@uni790, right click the move book (in your inventory, the same input you would do to split 1 from a stack) and it will select the next slot down.
edit: this is mentioned in the description for all move books!

This may be a foolish question, but how do I put a move in a different slot?

Grabbed Eevee to play as, have the books for tackle and growl, but they both just use the same(first) slot, and I can't figure out how to use a different one, looking at some of the other books in the guide's menu they seem to just use the first slot too. Can't find any keybinds listed to learn it in another slot, I feel like I'm missing something that should be obvious, lol.

@Archimera, nooooot super likely. In a similar way to my other Pokemon race mods, I haven't added any support for armours on them, mostly because it's a lot of effort to essentially have to draw a completely new spritesheet just for one armour set. For one race.
Admittedly the Eeveelutions share a fairly common body shape, but there are some like Flareon which really throw a wrench in the idea of trying to make armours that might fit all of them properly at once (also Eevee cuz he smol).
A lot of the armours on my other races are drawn by the community, too, rather than myself ;)

@Sqyke, thank you for all the comments! I wanted to try and capture some of the expressiveness that Pokemon generally have, and all of those little details are part of that vision. I've given a similar treatment to my other two Pokemon race mods, too~
But yes, I did get a bit lazy with the tails, heheh. I'm working atm on trying to animate them while running in a way that looks good.

This is so good! Are you considering adding vanity armors to go with them like some of your other race mods? It's understandable if that's too much work, but it would be nice to have a little more customization.

After trying this out for just a couple hours, I am already stunned at how well done this is. The animations are really really satisfying, particularly the running ones, and I gotta give you so many props for the myriad of emote sprites on top of that. The different small touches like the angry stance as you take damage, the idle expressions (fishing making you smile is precious), just really goes to show you really knocked it out of the park here - and 9 times over, too!

I haven't even gotten to play with moves yet but I just had to come geek out over the sprites - such wonderful work. Only nitpick I could give the sprites would be how the tails don't move much as you run, but I know that's a lot of extra spriting effort to implement, and this is already a dream mod come true in such high quality.
Finally, IS THAT TURNAROUND SPRITES TOO NO WAY-

@TheHopelessThrumbo, I'm probably going to stay away from the partner moves, but if I did add them then yeah it'd probably be a case of allowing Eevee to use any of them, but other Eeveelutions can only learn their type-specific ones.

While reading through the movelist, I immediately thought of something for the long-term: What if all the evolved forms were allowed to use Eevee's moves, who would receive their exclusive ones from the Let's Go games to compensate?

Hmm, that could be anything related to the rendering, really. A log would be most helpful, but I might also be able to try and reproduce it myself if you can figure out which mod is causing the conflict.

can't seem to find the crash log atm, but i did figure out scrolling on the player select screen alone seems to be what causes the crash

so i've been doing some troubleshooting and as far as i can tell there's something about this mod (potentially the root authentic races mod?) that crashes in the player select screen, something about rendering the sprite it seems


i am playing with a hefty few mods but nothing that should conflict like that (maybe starlight river or a library mod changes something about player rendering?)

@bord, all of the move functionality is described in-game on the move books themselves (note: book descriptions will be blank if you aren't playing as a race that can use them).
I don't have wikis for my mods~
