It's literally the Great Helm without the added detail of covering one of the eyes with an eyepatch-like bolted metal piece, which gives the latter personality and fits the character who uses it.
As a Great Helm enjoyer, I'm all for getting new helmets for Demo, but this is very uninspired.

This is basically just the Glasgow Great Helm only slightly more rounded (and the GGH is boring already). At least the GGH covered up the Demoman's left eye hole.

This looks great and you definitely made something of good quality here, but the Glasgow Great Helm is basically this already

This isn't to call the item "bad" or "slop" you did do good :)

You've definitely given off more of the old time TF2 hat vibes and the Halloween vibe is there too! Keep up the good work, i'd definitely love to wear the light duty in game. I love hats that seem like they would be in that time period or something the mercenary would have in their wardrobe. Thank you for contributing to the workshop!

Oh nice, glad you like them too! I really enjoyed making those :D Honestly, every time I publish a new hat (especially the more recent ones) I get that same feeling of ‘ooh, this is something I’d totally wear’ Personally, Medic is my favorite class to design hats for, And Halloween has always been my favorite time of year in TF2, so I’ve been trying to make items that carry a old tf2 and tf2 halloween vibe but still feel good to wear year-round. That said, I do have a more Halloween-specific hat planned soon that should really nail that seasonal vibe too :p But after that I will continue to make calm and all-season hats.

No problem, it's hard to find quality made demoman items that fit his character! I also love the Light Duty and the Hellmarch Helm.
