@rbwadle - it seems I was premature in my assessment. Plain F key is unlocking a panel on a red container in the Cooling Towers region without prompting for a code. In which case could I also request a purely (re)lock option or alter the mod to do nothing with the F key without SHIFT. Thanks.

@rbwadle Cheers!

As regards "...I could look into maybe putting a game tag on each door that you lock to make sure you can unlock it again...."

Personally, it's not like I'd ever hit Shift + F by accident but it would guard against knowing which doors I'd legitimately already unlocked "legally". Yes, I could be that forgetful! :lunar2019laughingpig: Either way no biggie, thanks.

@WindyBlod, you're right. I copied an old nexusmods description on accident from before I changed the interaction of the mod. I will update the description to reflect how it actually works now.

@Corgi_Julas, Hmm. My first thought is that if you have the ability to lock any door but not unlock it then you would just lock yourself out of that door permanently. I could look into maybe putting a game tag on each door that you lock to make sure you can unlock it again. Or perhaps including a toggle to switch between the ability to lock/unlock or just lock. It would certainly be a configuration option in this mod and not an entirely separate mod though. Thoughts?

Ok I've actually used it and it's not a magic F key. Shift + F does the magic.

Great mod, thanks :) I love locking doors.

@Corgi_Julas +1 to a sleeping bag or just being able to re-use existing beds in the world.

Brother can you make lock only version? Locking doors + sleeping bag mod sounds like true immersion for me

Am I getting this right... any door that's locked will be opened by the default key 'F' irrespective of whether you should be able to open it (i.e. even when you don't have the key)?

I love the option of re-locking already opened doors, I've often wished I could do that but I don't want to magically unlock doors using the default key 'F'. Cheers.
