Version 1.1.0.0 (Changes for Rimworld 1.6+)
- (1.6) "A Rimworld of Magic" support for might and magic lessons which can gain 'magically gifted', classes, class-XP and spells from a level 20 mentor (+ might equivalents) (all configurable). Lesson graphics, room bonus, cast some of the (safe) newly learned spells in class. (configurable)
@jinn in outer space - Nice that it is working for you
@Bepiss - Sounds possible, but is likely also a lot of work ^^
I see. Thanks for the explanation!
Version 1.0.2.2 (Changes for Rimworld 1.6+)
- Fix: Textbooks should now show up correctly when the classroom bonus is calculated
@Evenstar - Good to hear ;D there were also a bunch of people who just didn't care for the children-part was my impression. (yeah, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't get that the configurability was a major part of it, I would have liked to see them implement some of that in the basegame, makes it a nightmare to debug ;D so it is understandable)
(you can also configure a lot of stuff, how much is learned etc.)
The Bioteach lessons are also sporadic and random, with my mod you can set up an schedule with teachers and students etc.
I also have dynamic textures on the blackboards and table, which make the classroom feel more alive ;D (you can see it in the upper right in the fourth screenshot, with the books on the table and the lesson on the blackboard)
Filling the classroom with relevant stuff actually gives bonuses for the lessons.
(just depends on what you want to see in your game of course)
@fi9ate & Splat - Thanks ^^
@Splat - Thanks for the feedback on switching the mods out, I tested it, but you never know ;D
as I written on the CSL-site I will also try and see if I can add lessonst that work with "A Rimworld of magic"
Do the school lessons also fulfill the "learning need" for kids? Or do they still need to do stuff like nature running and floor drawings and stuff as well?
Always appreciate the good work you do!
