If it doesnt work then you must have a mod enabled ontop of it which changes the vehicles edited.

Would it be cool to make the supply trailer 'open' without the cover, just with some boxes and seating positions on the boxes?

This is a long needed mod that needs to be applied to almost so many vehicles as in WW2, if it can fit men, it will be used as a de facto troop transport even if its overloading it.
