Interesting if that is true it would make sense.

For anyone who might experience fatal errors in the future, I believe I've figured out a potential cause. I'm fairly certain that this crashing has nothing to do with the mod itself, but rather an issue with the 343 helmets. I haven't tested extensively, but both times I attempted to load up the mod while wearing the mariner helmet I got a fatal error, whereas the moment I switched to a base game helmet the mod loaded with no issues. The same issue is present with another similar mod that allows you to play as a marine, and is listed in the description as a known cause of crashing. That's my best guess, anyway.

I plan on doing more stuff in the future but I have been have life issues with the cost of living in the US and it has had me stopped up on work on the mods at this time. If I make it through it I will have more stuff for you guys. Pray for the world and all of humanity.

This is absolutely amazing, I'm so happy someone is finally making playable jackal/skirmisher mods.

In the future, I'd love to see you do a skirmisher campaign kinda like what you did for Halo 3 and the jackal campaign, I think it would be an absolute blast, just like firefight has been so far.

Reinstalled the mod tonight and it worked! Played on a few of the different maps with no issue. This mod is awesome! I love the active AA gun on Outpost.

just tried outpost 2.0 and as a skirmisher enjoyer this mod is fucking awesome but definitely could do with some first person viewmodels for the jackal skirmisher. would also be cool to have a UNSC firefight in the far future

Ya I wish I know what is going. I would try and uninstall it and reinstall it and see if that works @Citan. If anyone else is having this error please report it in the comments.

Tried again but this time on a separate map. Previously I tried to load in as a Jackal so this time around decided to try loading in as a Skirmisher on the Corvette map. Still had a fatal error during the mission loading, unfortunately. I've played the forge version of this mod and had a lot of fun with it so I'm hopeful that this issue can somehow get resolved soon.

Having the same issue. Tried to load into the modded Installation 04 map and immediately had a fatal error.

Odd I have I idea why you would be having that happen. I cant reproduce the error you are having.

yea everything is up to date and all and I get fatal error when I run it

ok that is odd I have just tested all of them on steam side and pc side and they are all working on my end with the latest version of mcc. are you on pc and if so are you on the latest mcc build.

No they have body shields like Spartans.

oh hey i found a bug i believe. on waterfront as soon as i use sprint it fatal errors

i did, yeah, ive never gotten to use a Tyrant against enemies before, makes me wish there were banshee hazards on Outpost, oh well, i have ghosts to shoot lol
