Not in vanilla, but there is a mod that lets you make jam and jelly, which you can then use in higher tier recipes.

im still new to the game, but maybe there is a way to also turn those blue Berries into Jam, (which preserves them i guess into a 'preserve', using some of the sweet syrup items), and then also a way to add the Jam onto a toast, and/or onto a buttered toast?
