ok thanks, ill keep asking around as im not a mod person, i was able to do it with my city busses and have them make a certain sound but can do it with cars for some reason

@dgrad598 you would have to use a variation of modtools and the mod Vehicle Effects to get the desired sound you want. unfortunately thats all i know i have yet to delve into that side of modding. There should be at least a couple tutorials and and info panels on the mod page and maybe you can find some on google or youtube as well.

@Lazybot: Do you know how to add custom sound effects to cars? im trying to get my police cars to play the sound of a police scanner while following them around the city.
