Changelog:
Fixed counter to correctly spawn spells after the first 100 kills
Fixed some context-sensitive rare voice lines that weren't playing
Added kill counters in spawn
Opened area behind the long fall death pit, it is also a hazard
Added some signage around
Did a number of small bug fixes (Thanks Casapillar, Rat Man, bestest bread, Entropy Tempus)
Adjusted super important clip brush on horizontal saws by the 1.572hu it was moved by, messing with my 13 years of muscle memory :|
Todo: We ARE bringing back the graffiti in a new way, and the train rain will also become more ethereal!
Honestly last we checked it not being artpassed was entirely intentional.
(Also yeah do keep this as community server stuff, it doesn't really need to be added to base game.)
does it fit in the normal map pool: fuck no, but does it fit scream fortress? honestly yeah.
lets take a look at when they added some wacky things for scream fortress:
scream fortress 2: added in BOSS BATTLES in the form of the hhh
scream fortress 3: eyeduct, you fight over viaduct but periodicly you just go to hell? the underworld? a sepereate dimension! for a buff!
scream fortress 4: added in wave 666, an (at the time) nearly impossible mvm wave that even to this day is a heafty challange
scream fortress 8: kill each and collect the souls of others and deposit them in hell! WHAT????
past that we got mostly rehashes of old ideas but with some nice looks to them ie: monsterbash.
so id say with how wacky tf2 has already been with its scream fortress, something like train saw laser isnt actualy out of the realm of something the tfteam themselves might concoct as an official map even
let it in, dont let every map ever in, but let this one in. its polished, its just close enough to make sense. and it looks fun!
With that being said, it shouldn't be added officially into the game.
