You don't see people in the EU defending themselves well

I think we just need to actually make getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ assault weapons take much more extensive background checks, mental health screenings, and mandatory training. We shouldn't have people on the streets with AR-15s with the only requirements being a week long wait and a little background check.
Guns in general should be hard to get. You don't see all the EU countries where it actually takes time and effort to get guns having 100+ school shootings a year.

There definitely needs to be more security legally required in schools, Fire alarms that notify the fire department are legally required in schools, but why not security systems that notify the police?

Imagine if we had this level of care for the thousands of school children shot dead in the United States each year. Never forget 9/11 but forget all the school kids right?

Because they are disrespecting thousands of people, they need help.
