Yes, I just use BOB, too, but it would be nice to have original historical assets and add modern props if we want. Also, modern props "date" things pretty drastically. Window AC units are fast disappearing and being replaced by the mini-splits, yet we only have the window ACs. Likewise, who uses a satellite dish on their roof anymore? Everything is over the internet now, so there are hardly any satellite dishes around, yet we have so many vanilla buildings that have them. To me, props should be left off of assets and the user should be free to decide what, if any, props to add. The worst is when the "prop" is actually modeled into the asset and can't be removed, only covered or hidden with something in the game.

Besides, luckily, there are mods such as BOB - two clicks and anything you don't like is gone, just like that.

m4gic, I understand your concern, but personally, I am glad to see them with modern props, because I like building modern New England style towns/cities. There is a set of similar colonial style homes on the Workshop from someone else suitable for historical play without any props or anything. Houses like this one here with the modern props are great for modern city/town play which I assume is how most people are playing to begin with. These houses still exist in modern New England.

I love this but really wish historical buildings would be published without the modern props like AC units. I use BOB to remove them but it would be nice if they came as they were originally made in history, so players who want to use them in an anachronistic build can do so without having to remove modern props or, in cases where the creator modeled the modern parts into the mesh, hide the modern props with decals or trees, or not use the asset at all.

I love the fact that they are all kept in small, realistic plot sizes.
