I guess i downloaded the wrong one, the one i downloaded had requirements that needed ACE. Could you link the one you're talking about please? I do really like this mod and would love to have great sounding gun fire with it.

Yeah I'm not a sound guy so I just put something to tryyyy fill the gap. Id strongly recommend using JSRS 2025, the mod has compatibility inbuilt.

Some of the rifles sound like pop guns and some of the sounds are just very low with no beefiness to it. Is there a mod that's supposed to go with this?

Depends on the walls, unfortunately Armas ballistic penetration config is non-existent. Eg, a 500gr Full Metal Jacket or Hollow point is treated the same as an armour piercing or api round of the same weight/dimensions despite the clear penetration performance difference.

I've done what I can to boost that, but yea. Definitely better than vanilla, but not the magic fix.

Hi @DrBacalhau, certainly something we're looking at. Ideally, all that can be inbuilt into the lrf so you range and it spits you a straight ballistic solution. That's the current goal.

Hi, I'd like to know if the LRFs can connect with ACE's AtragMX and the DAGR in a similar fashion to it's rangefinder

no, no sorry i didn't mean "ACE Ballistics" but rather "ACE Scope Adjustments", in which i meant supporting the ACE version of scope adjusting rather than using the vanilla one

I didn't say errors, best possible solution would be adding addon option to enable debug or remove for now. Unnecessary to raise rpt file size and stress pc that way :) hard to keep track other problems atm.

They aren't errors, it's a trigger to confirm it's used based on players moving in and out of the scope. We can remove it from the log if you like, but it's useful for anyone having issues.

@Burky, I haven't been able to replicate, are you using any other mods/able to let me know specific classnames? As long as you hold the trigger, the bolt shouldn't cycle until you release your LMB

it seems to not rack itself with certain ammo 6.5cm works as intended but 300wm and 338 seems to just immediately make the gun rack the bolt

Gun Auto Elevation Keybind is the one you are chasing.

I'll create a poll about the red dot side of things in the discord. I've considered it but been hesitant to create more class names/complexity/file size.

I should be able to add the ability to attach/detach. I'm just trying to figure a way that requires when added/creates when remove inventory item so that communities etc that want to limit thermal/NV use can do so.

I also have to say a way to attach \ detach or enable \ disable scope NV \ TI scope attachments via ACE would go a long way <3 and so would a way to aim (of any kind) over the scope (like point shooting, even though I know these scopes ain't made for that, I just hope for any way to defend yourself aiming from "above" the gun).

Hey chief how to use the rangefinder? Couldn't find a custom bind nor instruction on how to do it on the scope \ core mods.

Also, any chance for side-mounted (or even top-rail mounted, if that'd make sense - TBH I'm no expert on this) RMR for the smallest scopes \ scope configs? Any chance for smaller clip-on TI addons like the ones promoted by FalconClaw YT channel?

Same issue here. +when I aim through the scope and fire, the bullet goes straight into the ground without hitting anything.
But if ACE is loaded, everything works fine

Idk why, but when i'm using one of your scopes, a circle appears on the screen, and when i'm going to aim, the scope doesn't work and it shows a grey screen instead... Sometimes, depending on the scope, it also shows a red circle in the middle of the screen without aiming...
