I've tried to add fishing, it was the very first thing I tried after the crop harvest, but I couldn't make it work. Maybe I give it another try on the future...

Love this mod. Must have! I do have a feature request though. Would you be able to add fishing as well so that they don't fish up a fish just to leave it on the ground?

My problem is gone with latest version as well, thanks for the updates! I have tried to make pawn drop harvested crops, chunk and ore and neither disappeared as before. I'll keep an eye out for different items. Fingers crossed it's sorted!

Updated a rework of the mech part, now they are truelly treated as pawn, only carry their own yield and a new mod option to allow/forbid hauling to non-hauling drones for their own tasks, similar to the pawn override.

Hello, I'm pretty sure the most recent mod update (Oct 24 ~ 1AM UTC) broke uh, pawns dropping some items when they get into pax shuttles? it only started doing it after the mod was updated, and disabling H&H completely fixes the dropping issue.

@Hugalafutro you could try the opposite way, only H&H to discard it's not the mod itself, then add a pack of 10-50 mods, remove and repeat with another pack of 10-50 different mods, until you got a pack where the issue reproduces, then remove half of them to determine which half is causing it, then by half again, until you manage to reproduce with only one or two mods.
I'd take a look at that modlist in any case. Thank you.

I've tried removing any mod related to hauling like build from inventory or pick up and haul etc, but otherwise no idea which mods could conflict. In log is few yellow messages, but nothing from H&H far as I can tell. Modlist here: https://rentry.co/wzbv436g

I updated, but the items still go missing I managed to capture it on the video. The start is cut off, but she was sleeping with 61 gold in inventory and after waking up unloaded it into storage. Then the video starts as she's leaving storage and goes to the drill and you can see I tell her drop the first 10 gold she mined and the gold just disappears :< https://youtu.be/xu3N4aBxcis

Have stuff disappearing more with the latest version still sadly, nothing red in logs.
I.e. a guy stands at deep drill, there's 20 iron next to him and 180 iron in his inventory. He keeps drilling, but not putting in on floor but into his inventory. After a time there's like 300 iron in his inventory so I try to make him drop it, click the down arrow in Gear tab, the iron disappears from his inventory, but doesn't drop on floor, poof it's just gone.

There is a bug where the gardening robot will carry everything on its body when it is collected again and will not automatically remove it. If I manually remove it, it will disappear

Harvesting of wild plants is the part I want to "fix", my pawns do already a good job with my crops, I prefer to have my plant specialist harvests and my haulers haul.

But no option for harvesting only far wildplants and deny in your own fields... that seems way too weird imho... why wouldn't you want them to pick up your own fields?

Could you add an option for each work, please? The possibility to disable it when inside the home area.
For example, I love this mod for harvesting wild plants far from the base, but I don't need it for harvesting in the fields. But I like it for animal products...

When it comes to harvesting crops my pawn sometimes drop the loot, they harvest some, drop them, then harvest some, then pick all again, and when it's time to haul them, they drop them all on the floor. I will share whatever is needed.

Dosent seem to drop when mining in the Quarry - from the quarry mod. They just dont drop or haul, the pawn will have like 100 stone chunks in inventory

I had another bug (with no errors in log) I was scrolling around and on one spot I hear a rhytmic drum sound like a beat I'm thinking it's a door opening/closing as it's close to main gate. Keep hearing it non-stop until I get a popup colonist collapsed due to exhaustion at which point the sound stopped. When I reloaded I found the colonist standing next to the storage crate continuously dropping and picking up something (I think a stone chunk it kept flickering too quick) producing a really sick beat, but I don't think that is the intended function :D

I'd gonna watch to it. As the intervals seems to be equal, try to disable haul every X hours (5 by default) maybe it's only the mod trying to run unload job on every pawn what's causing it

Otherwise and anyways, it will be very helpful if you share a modlist at least. Logs are thankful to have indeed, but I can start working on the modlist without logs. So don't be shy to post on the thread :P

If you've some spare time you can try some of the suspicious mod along with H&H in a new game save. If you manage to reproduce the error with only 1 mod we're gonna call it a day so I know which mod exactly and the behaviour description, also I could reproduce myself easily and start coding around it

upvoting anyway cuz this mod is so convenient, and getting unplayable lag after 1hr and forcing me to restart the game could be the cure to my rimworld addiction tbh

I'm a lazy bum and didn't get logs when I was testing so I'm not gonna bother reporting it in the bug thread but, I was also having items disappear when I told my pawns to drop them, followed by a sudden increase in lag. nothing in debug log.
even avoiding that, my game slowly got laggier and then unplayable after almost exactly 1hr of playtime with very precisely timed lagspikes every 20ms or so. performance analyser said it was something about checking pawns' jobs.
my modlist is around 200 though, and with many other mods that change jobs, hauling, and inventory, so likely not a huge problem if you're playing lightweight.
I can run it again and send a log if you need it

But I was able to harvest smaller amounts of wood with it collecting and dropping it off, working as intended. Perhaps it has something to do with the overweight mechanic?

I have the same issue happening with my wood disappearing from inventory and ingame entirely. I disabled wood collection in the mod options and I can collect wood again.

@Hugalafutro Last update added a chunk tick, so you can just forbid the chunks from being picked up

About the things scooped from bionics, H&H has filters to pickup, and only picks up materials matching the work is doing. In that sequence it seems there's no job made from the pawn, therefore it must not be picking using H&H... try to reproduce the bug with the least amount of mods possible, ideally only H&H and FSF bionics
Not sure but I guess that mod requires the DLC? which I don't have so that'd be hard to test myself

I had a strangest bug. Orbital trader drops down 2x AI assistant modules from FSF Bionics (they're like purple mech serums). Pawn picks 2 of them up before I can forbid them to use them immediately. I select the pawn, see 2 of them in his inv. Tell the pawn to drop both, they're gone from the inventory....and the existence as well :D They just disappeared. First time ever I have seen something like that happen, but makes me worry how much stuff I might have lost over the "years" of the colony

Also (not as often as I used to) I sometimes find a pawn or Megascarab miner with line 10 chunks stuck in inventory with weight at 150kg/25kg.

Yesterday I was doing tests, one of the tests was to use wood to attack another pawn.
The pawn I chose resulted to be a tortured artist by chance hahahahah :steamhappy:

Just uploaded the shift+click and ctrl+click functions, to queue haul and haul now respectivelly ;-)
