tried to disable in settings, was unable, I am assuming it would be a pain in the booty to remove them, right?
Some flags have no contested spawns so the enemy spawns in your face when you are capturing the point
one small bug i noticed though, the ai sometimes doesn't want to capture the point at Mansion. i noticed this first after the match had technically ended, but i replayed it, and found that the ai sometimes doesn't get close enough to the flag to capture. it usually caps, so its a small bug, but it just doesn't occasionally.
I’m currently improving infantry path finding and have already made progress with vehicle navigation, though due to the AI code, they may still get stuck at times regardless what i do.
Next update will expand flag capture zones and improve bot path finding. Vehicle spawns vary by assigned point some are closer, some farther this is for balance, to avoid bot clustering and ensure turrets aren’t ignored.
For spread out spawns, I’d suggest using the land vehicles provided. You don’t need to capture every flag to win, just the ones around the city, aside from the Raven base aren’t priority targets.
However due to how dense it is navigation feels a little difficult to me.
Flag capture zones are really small and vehicles access is not always easy - for instance you have to walk 15s to reach the helicopters at the airport island.
Might also want to check the navmesh as it seems sometimes infantry will do unnecessary detours.
