I have done the "Unsub and Resub" several times. Every time I restart the game or load a different world, the Mod Settings sub menus will be off screen. IE Mod Settings is center screen but if I open Tool Forge settings, the sub menu is off screen so it's useless.
Temp Fix:
Go to Settings > Mod Settings > Click any mod and the mod's menu is off screen.
Now go to Settings > Graphics > and change your display mode to something different [Windowed, Borderless, Fullscreen]. Doesn't matter which as long as it's a different mode than the current one. Confirm the change.
Now your mod settings sub menus should be center screen as intended.
Again, you will have to do this every time you load a different world.
I extended your SelectionSetting class and want to add code into the onSelected event to change other setting values depending on what preset is selected. However, I am having a hard time trying to figure out how I can use the settingsForm and customeModSettings variables from the SettingsComponents class to change the values during the onSelected event.
I imagine this isn't within the scope of what you imagined your mod to be used for but I really want to add support for your mod in my mod so I figured I would ask. Do you have any tips or suggestions on how I should go about this?
I know worst case I should be able to make custom components to mimic the behavior I am looking for but I figured I would ask to see if I am overthinking it first.
I’m having trouble playing multiplayer with my friend due to an issue with Mod Settings Lib.
The game shows that our mods don’t match, even though we both subscribed to the same version of the mod.
We tried unsubscribing and resubscribing several times, and even reinstalled Necesse, but the problem still persists.
Could you please let us know if there’s a known issue or a specific version we should use for multiplayer compatibility?
Thank you very much for your time and for your work on this mod.
Troll: Make sure this mod is installed and enabled (It can be disabled in steam or in game, so enter the game with only this mod to make sure it's on)
And thanks for read.
Mod Settings Lib
RPG Mod v0.6
Tool Forge
Scorched Biome
Necesse Expanded (v0.5.2)
But when creating a server or creating a friend's server, we can't connect because some file is deleted. One play is obtained.
What could be the reason?
Those mods aren't using this library in that case. This is basically a framework that needs modders to use it as a dependency. Give it time.
There's an issue with larger screens, I think. On a wide screen, the mod settings menu moves off-center (to the right for me), not where the game menus usually are. And if I scale the interface, it disappears off-screen (I usually play with 150% UI scale). <3
