thanks for the feedback guys :)

while creating this effect, we targeted the effect's desirability more along the likes of nuts 'n' bolts, and were fully aware this wasn't gonna reinvent the wheel with traders

as for optimization, the framerate drops between ~5%-10% depending on viewing distance of the effect. i've added another preview gif to represent how the effect looks at far distances

While the "ice/glass shards" effect looks pretty cool by itself (reminds me of the "shattered rifts" and rift butterflies in Fortnite), I suspect Unusual collectors would rate it low because it's hardly visible from afar.

And the distortion effect could present in-game problems, similar to how very large and obscuring Unusual effects are not allowed because they could obscure a Sniper's sightline.
How does the distortion and light reflection affect the framerate of players looking at it?
