@whitefish either that or turn off the optimization in the game rules, on a good PC, it might not impact performance too much.

If i were playing with the console on, and I paused, and switched to another country to see it's gdp, would it show correctly without me needing to spend a month AS that country?

@box you get less gdp from losing in a war or getting bombed heavily by enemies (basically anything that results in less factories lowers your gdp)

finally, now i can watch the line go up as i make everything worse

@Lotl @Shane1012 GDP is calculated by taking all factories and applying a different factor to each type of factory.

@Amon i can add a gamerule to change the currency.

What influences the GDP growth?

request to switch to British pounds as they were default currency up to 1944 and adding switch after ingame yalta triggers to usd (only on historical)

option for us to see it as modern usd instead of 1936 usd

how is GDP calculated?

I feel that a country's resources should also count towards it, I believe that's how TWR does it and it's pretty much the same little GDP counter. I don't know what their formula is or how yours differs but I would think like 10 steel would be worth a lot less than a factory at least. Just gonna leave that as a suggestion if you want
