@zeroGhost, saying the devs are incompetent is a joke, this game runs on a 15 year old engine yet it can support such a large build with fully simulated physics. And from what I can see, a ton of subgrids are used

EPIC is understatement.. for such builds to be ruined by incompetent developers ..this is literally impossible to put in any server ..such a shame ..love it ARC

luckilly it's a world, so the DLC blocks will appear no matter.

From what I can tell, the DLC's allow you to place said blocks. So, you can't place them (or paste them) without the DLC. However, if they are already placed...

This is actually incredible!
The Elevators are really smooth. With the plates to offset the Pistons.
The elvel to detail in all the quarters, living spaces, cargo spaces, Workstations and all other places.

Sad it's so performance heavy.
Couldn't get the elevator really going sadly. It was in Station mode and had to switch it, but it'somehow wouldn't start going really. I think it has some really high friction somewhere. All wheels went in the correct direction etc.

You cannot merge something so big in a single grid, the game has a cap in number of physical shapes. However, you can use pistons (unextended to prevent deformation) to separate the elevator into subgrids (LucaTheGuide made a video in her YT channel, about a drivable ramp to the moon using this method).

Awesome... no other words can describe this. Every time I *think* I might have built something noteworthy, I come to the workshop and am humbled by the creativity on display.
