Don't worry my creativity isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Just can't guarantee it'll be for much publishable stuff but I'll certainly keep making things! :D
I’m reminded of this.
I have also noticed my little guys featured as one of the most popular this week, which I am very much both surprised and grateful for :D
Also thank you, Leprechaun2055!
I'm so very glad you like it! It does well for motivation
I've decided to go for the giant imp in the chest, like the current art of the normal form has with a normal imp, that pokes his arms through holes in the vest to hold big logs (or some sort of big object). The buff imp is still too small. I've already sketched out most of it with sloppy hand and it looks good in my opinion.
As for the Back Off Barbarian art, your idea actually comes quite close. I've opted for the 4 of them using a sack of gold as a "boat" of sorts. One is trying to push it, another one is peeking out from inside the sack, the third one is on top leaning away from the sack's collar to point somewhere and the last is peeking out from behind holding the packaged weapon up with a stick in the background with the pelt attached.
Just make the body a bigger sack of gold/boss treasure chest whilst the imps work as its limbs.
As for the back off barbarian, i have only a silly idea about it, which is the four imps fighting over a sack of gold.
I've thought of a couple of things, like one giant imp, but I feel that would not be unique enough since I would have to copy the beefy bear look for everything but the chest where the big imp would poke through. I've also thought of maybe stuffing the beefy form full of sandwich ingredients that are bursting out of pelt seams but it didn't quite click (and again, very difficult to draw that stuff consistently)
So yea I'm stuck for now, but I'm confident I'll think of something. I am making slow work on the Back Off Barbarian sprite though since I do want to make a fully completed sheet eventually if motivation holds and that is one step closer to that.
