@hippity-hop Their ability should only turn off when the circle is present, otherwise it isn't a circle of protection. They did it in that Lord of the Rings campaign when you are in the circle they cannot hit you with their tongue

I agree with you, but I've already had to turn off the ability of spittoons. If I continue to do the same with other bosses, then their meaning of being on the map will be lost.

smokers should not be able to pull you out of the protection circle. It's really frustrating trying to keep inside and then the damn chargers can force you out of the circle and same with smokers

Very fun and challenging map!

It's excellent, but you need to fix it so the bots and zombies can climb the wooden stairs. It would be nice if you added the modified tank like the demon from the movie "Viy." Regards.

@Nehvar, thanks for your observations, but I think it's easier to disable Left4Bots in the add-on settings.

What a neat and unique map concept.

The only issue I've run into is that it doesn't work with Left4Bots. (Left4Bots2 works but sucks with this map -- bots won't stay in the circle.) I was able to fix that particular issue on my end by adding IncludeScript("left4bots"); and Left4Bots.Initialize(modename, mapname); in the scriptedmode_addon right before the return true line at the bottom. That fix probably causes problems if you're not using Left4Bots though and I don't know enough about scripting to fix it any better.

A classic Russian horror film from the late 60s. I have it in my collection of horror films. Even today, Viy is praised by filmmakers. Especially the scene in the church, which is really good.

@kurochama At the moment, the duration of the passage is regulated by the final script l4d2_viy_finale.nut, It indicates after which wave the witch appears for the first time, the second, and so on. If you want, you can write your own more interesting version, I am open for discussions. As for the ladder, I noticed that the players themselves are trying to put it near the hanging fabric, I should probably place the ladder installation point there.

Well it's creepy enough. The female ghost is creepy too. My bots died several times because of her (I use an auto revival mod for bots just to compensate them for traps that bots usually couldn't avoid). Though some people already figured out where to place the ladder, probably I was one who was still clueless till the end, so I simply just did a normal holdout finale while going to the center regularly to interact with some items

I wish that this campaign could be longer, as it would be cool to have another longer horror-themed campaign like Silent Hill, especially if there's a special ghost as the custom final boss later. Very good
