Do you know what tools were used for the logo? Is it just the basic circle, line, and box tool?

The logo was designed by a friend of mine, but the image itself (background, texturing, effects, etc) was done by me. Any basic editing tool will work, but I generally use Gimp or even just Paint 3D.

I'm curious, who did the art for the MCI logo? was it you? or someone else? I've been wanting to learn to do those sorts of logo's and I wanna get some tips and learn what tools are used in the process.
