Tell me the diffrence between a normal scanner vs this scanner but with a glock 18 attached with it. From a dear metrocop who a rookie.

@MaliceAndTragedy, NGL you have a point there and I cant argue with that. I don't think it needs buffs anymore besides maybe a little more accuracy and a farther reach to fire its weapon from a bit of a longer distance, but it would be nice to have one that uses the smg or revolver. From purely a lore perspective, I get it, this addon rocks and its accurate to how hacked tech would look in half life 2 and Ima keep using it cause its just overall neat. All I really ask for is a few tweaks so it can last longer against an npc with a gun and maybe some variants of the hacked scanner

@Femcel Maiden I mean, it's only a Hacked Scanner, I don't think they'd have any intentions to make it some sort of super machine, it's only a scanner with a pistol taped and wired onto it with a grenade on top. I'm not sure if that's what EJ intended but..what else is there to buff on an NPC which is just a piece of metal whose only purpose is to only shoot what it sees and commit self-destruction when out of ammo?
Also it aligns pretty well with the rest of the hacked combine tech, which just shares the rest of the original variants with the only difference being is that they're under resistance control + Most of the hacked tech are literally held together with just tape and other sorts of materials a normal human would use to hold some junk together.

This is an amazing idea! Please make more npcs with advanced AI and unique features. It’s very fun.

I love the idea of just a gun strapped to a scanner lol

kinda underpowered even with the features and the ai is kinda wonky, still a pretty cool npc but either needs buffs or different variants

@jacetheface in the bottom left of the ZBase tab, change "ally" to "combine"

now hacked rollermine has a lost brother in the zbase category

it'd be nice if there was a hostile and friendly version tho
