Oooh. They DO create buoyancy from vanilla, don't they? I just got one to make a block float. I guess it's not technically cheating then, just... effing weird.

(sigh) You said in reply to my comment on the Rebecca that your later boats don't use cheats. But I see buoyancy pivots all around the stern on both pontoons. I dare you to make a catamaran without using any pivots for fake bouyancy. That's something I've yet to see anybody do.

How do you get pivots to add buoyancy anyway? Are they XML edited, or are they super buoyant right from vanilla?

I would recommend installing Echo's workbench mod, or use an xml edited workbench
