It required also XML Extensions. It listed under required items on the right side the Steam workshop page.

In Rimpy, the program is telling me that I am missing "XML Extensions", however, your mod description only mentions that I need Vanilla Expanded Framework, which I have. I know that I have the correct version because many, many other mods require Vanilla Expanded and they are all working fine.

Hiya, I was excited finding this mod because I wanted medieval smelting without Medieval Overhaul, and this is a very graceful solution, but I looked at the research prerequisites because I'm very picky about that kind of thing, and I noticed it wasn't working as intended.

The description describes a patch for VFE Classical to make the fueled furnace require republic research, but the mod isn't doing that. I looked for it in the code, but I couldn't find anything related to it.

Simply add another prereq to the wood fueled furnace, like so:

@El Marco - added research prerequisite. You need to enable it in mod options.

@Stryyyder - Crematorium is hauling work, smelter is crafting work. I couldn't decide which to use, so furnace takes both works - pawn can be assigned to either hauling or crafting.

Great mod, but it looks like any work at the furnace is considered hauling work. Is this intentional? I'm pretty sure smelter and crematorium are smithing

This is great, but can you make it a research-able item (maybe as an option)? About 400 points feel right.

@Joanne - most likely not. It doesn't make sense to me and I want to keep this simple.

There is a similar mod that inspired this: Multifunction Smelter, but I didn't like how it looked. There is also Small Biofuel Refinery

this looks awesome! esp now that gravships demand more space efficiency. what if there was a more advanced version you could build that also integrates biofuel refineries?

Don't use that mod myself. But added also helixien gas furnace.
